About Mr Christopher Lowden
Chris is a graduate of Leeds University and subsequently completed his post graduate orthopaedic training with the Advanced Training Scheme of the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association.
Having gained his Fellowship examination in 2001 he has undertaken 2 years of sub-specialist training overseas. He has worked at St Jamess University Hospital in Leeds, Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland Oregon and 12 months at the Hand and Upper Limb Centre in London, Ontario.
He returned to take up a public appointment at Hutt Hospital in January 2004, and commenced part time private practice at Boulcott Hospital in June of that year.
Chris has a broad interest in all aspects of Orthopaedic Surgery and a special interest in Hand and Upper Limb Surgery.
