About Dr Ellen Selkon
Ellen Selkon qualified as a doctor at the University of Stellenbosch, in South Africa, in 1991. Ellen immigrated to New Zealand in 1997 with her husband. They started a medical centre, Westgate Medical Centre, in the Westgate Shopping Centre and she still works there as a GP one day of the week and is a Director on the board. Ellen obtained her GP specialisation through the NZ College of GP's and taught 4th, 5th and 6th year medical students as a community lecturer for the University of Auckland.
Ellen obtained her Membership through the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine in 2009 and is a partner in Clinic42, one of Auckland's premier cosmetic medicine clinics.
Ellen believes in staying up to date in this ever changing field of cosmetic medicine and for this reason attends conferences and workshops both nationally and internationally and also helps with training of her colleagues for various pharmaceutical companies.
Her passion and expertise are in using a combination of botulinum toxin and fillers to enhance and rejuvenate the face.
