Otolaryngology or ENT (ear, nose and throat) specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, and head and neck diseases and disorders. Neurotology (or neuro-otology) is a
subspecialty of otolaryngology concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of neurological (nervous system) disorders of the ear. The nervous system involves the brain, spinal cord and nerves.
